Dean MacEachern - Plant Manager

A farmer wading amongst his watery crop, Dean has spent most of his life on or near the water. To listen to Dean speak of the depot, it sounds less like a job than a vocation, which is seen in his dedication and tireless work ethic. Dean has been on the water in and around Nine Mile Creek for over 25 years, and some say only the oysters themselves know these waters better than him. Most importantly though, Dean is an islander, working with nature, neighbours, and provincial and federal entities to ensure that sustainability of not only Rodney's Oyster Depot leases, but the industry as a whole. An auxiliary RCMP officer, Dean is also well prepared to deal with the oyster's ‘two-legged predators’.
